Yet another work in progress! I think I'm in love with the warm and bright reds and yellows, they are infectious especially when the world is blanketed in snow outside. The painting is nice and large as well, measuring 22"x 28". The whole room seems to have been affected by this burst of red, its almost surreal. Also red paint seems to have a magical ability to get on my face, so that I am able to horrify my fiance. I'm hoping to work more on it tonight, it seems to be coming along quickly which is always a good thing.

Poppies

In Progress
Working on another large cabbage painting. Its always exciting to watch everything come together. I love the color range in this one, its going to go from the lights you see above to some deep purples and blues.

The Coming Night
This one was a fun piece, I love painting birds in this style. I think this is the image that sunset and night had for me as a child ( I blame Fantasia ). There is something about birds that seems to fascinate me because I always come back to them in my art as well as in literature. 
I'm planning on getting some portfolios together and send them to local galleries. Wish me luck!
