August In the Studio
Squid commission is coming along well! I've been working on it the past few days in the studio. So excited to have it completed soon.
Shot of the studio, to the right is my extensive collection of Martha Stewart Living Magazines. I was lucky enough to be given all of them by someone who had been collecting for a while.

Lots of bumble bees around lately, I thought I would paint another one. These little paintings are so fun to do and so relaxing. I think the mood really comes through in the finished piece.
A little birthday present on my window sill. Very cute, although with this humidity I'm going to have to find a new pot very soon, I think it has doubled in size since I got it.

Scenes from the Weekend
The sun was shinning while it rained.
Pretty clouds that appeared right before sunset.
View from the upstairs. We found that you can see not one but about 6 or 7 fireworks displays from this angle on the fourth of July.
I'm planning on taking some online classes, have you ever heard of Creative Live ? Lots of free live classes which can be purchased later. I will let you know how my first one goes!
