This painting was challenging, mostly because of the paper that I used. It just seemed to absorb water like mad. Nevertheless the interesting subject pulled me through. I know a lot of people that are terrified of geese because they are rather grumpy animals, but for the most part I find it all show. Perhaps this confidence comes from years of hand feeding them as a child and delivering prompt, though not damaging (I hope) kicks to an over aggressive gander.
