This one was a fun piece, I love painting birds in this style. I think this is the image that sunset and night had for me as a child ( I blame Fantasia ). There is something about birds that seems to fascinate me because I always come back to them in my art as well as in literature. 
I'm planning on getting some portfolios together and send them to local galleries. Wish me luck!
