Spring

It is spring here in Kennett Square! The trees are bursting with flowers and leaf buds. I am painting and planning lots of plein air events for the coming summer months. The moths are out again, it was nice to see one tapping on my window in the evening. The bird song is also back almost deafening at times, so different from just hearing the canadian goose call on fall evenings. 

I've been working from life, below is a watercolor of a simple green pear I plucked out of my grocery haul.
