From left to right: The Bedside Book of Birds by Graeme Gibson which is my actual bedside book of the moment. A sparrow's nest that I found this summer while gardening, when I first saw it, the nest was filled with three little sparrows. I watched them from a distance careful not to disturb the mother and when they all flew away I took the nest as a memento. Oxblood Lily (Rhodophilala bifida ) one of my own botanical watercolors. I love the name of this peculiar flower.
