Above is pretty representative of what I've been up to for the last few days. I was house sitting in the wilds of Pennsylvania. Taking care of a herd of free range chickens ( I want my own one day!) and a few chicks. I brought along my plein air easel and painted the rooster, who seemed to be posing for me all the while.
All of the chickens wanted to know what I was up to so they would sort of mill around my feet and peck at the shiny parts of my easel.
